We’re proud to continue our decade-long tradition of contributing Southern Living® Plant Collection varieties to the 2025 Southern Living Idea House—bringing dependable beauty, regional charm, and lasting color to landscapes designed to inspire. This year, we’re especially excited to join the team behind the 2025 Idea House in Keswick, Virginia—a community just outside of Charlottesville that honors the spirit of the South with its deep connection to the land and gracious sense of hospitality.
Set on a serene five-acre parcel, and thoughtfully designed by Waterstreet Studio, this year’s landscape takes cues from the idea of a modern homestead—complete with a fenced vegetable garden, potting shed, and a formal parterre herb garden. Drawing inspiration from the landscape and its ornate and edible plant palette, Steph Green of Contained Creations has crafted a stunning selection of containers to adorn the home. Our Southern Living plants are woven throughout the property, from softening the edges of this striking Arrival Court to framing garden paths and porches with vibrant, easy-care structure.
The talented team behind the 2025 Idea House includes developer Molly Hardie of Keswick Real Estate, builder Allan Pettit of Alexander Nicholson, architects Julie Dixon and Keith Scott of Rosney Co. Architects, interior designer Charlotte Moss, and landscape architect Eugene Ryang of Waterstreet Studio.
As always, we’re honored to help Idea House visitors dig the good life with Southern Living Plants!
